Went Missing From Radar

The EgyptAir Flight MS804 (an Airbus A320) disappeared from the radar. It lost contact with radar at 02:30 Cairo time (01:30 British Standard Time). The Airbus A320 was flying at 37,000 feet when it disappeared.

Most news networks are reporting that the plane crashed in the Mediterranean Sea. As of now, there is no way to confirm this.

— “It was 16km (10 miles) inside Egyptian airspace when it went missing, the airline says” via BBC News

Sherif Ismail, The Egyptian Prime Minister said “The search operation for the aeroplane is currently under way in the area where it is thought to have disappeared when communication was lost.”

— A total of 56 passengers report to be on Flight MS804:-

  • 3 children [2 infants and 1 child]
  • 3 Security personnel
  • 2 cockpit crew
  • 5 cabin crew

— The Nationality of passengers are as follows:-

  • 30 Egyptians
  • 15 French
  • 1 Iraqi
  • 1 British
  • 1 Canadian
  • 1 Belgian
  • 1 Kuwaiti
  • 1 Saudi Arabian
  • 1 Algerian
  • 1 Chadian
  • 1 Portuguese

— EgyptAir said that there were 10 crew members on board the Fligh
